After graduating from Catania Univeristy in foreign languages with a first class degree in English Literature (with a thesis on Harold Pinter’s The Homecoming), Rosalba Di Raimondo moved to London where she lived between 1991 and 1999. In London, she started learning the trade of artist manager and agent at Athole Still International Management, promoting established opera singers, conductors, stage directors and designers and encouraging fresh new talent. After 8 years working in the opera business, three of which at Prima International Artists Management in Bologna, Rosalba changed her tune and decided to accept Marilla Simonini Music Management’s invitation to Modena, taking the role of booking manager for jazz and contemporary instrumentalists, tours for chamber and symphonic ensembles and theatre productions.

Thanks to her skills and to her wide network of international contacts, which she has been building up over 10 years, Rosalba opened in Spring 2004 her own agency in Bologna, where she also lives. She manages artists and new projects which best reflect her musical sensibility, giving more emphasis to vocal programmes and genres without rigid boundaries, such as the new edition of Soupsongs, which Rosalba is very proud to promote, thanks to the precious help and loving collaboration of Robert Wyatt.

In order to achieve results it is vital for Rosalba that there is direct communication with the artist, whenever possible, or with a dynamic personal manager of the artist, for the realization of unique performances, of high artistic value and emotional impact.
